Wasn't sure where I could post this but I just wanted to share my first months results from finally integrating SEO into my sons karting website. In less then two weeks of various forums (this one included) I have been finally indexed by google and blow up in msn. now I just gotta be patient for Yahoo. Can't wait to see March's results since just started building up my backlinks :) Thanks again for this awesome forum and all these great reads I have come across while browsing the forum :)

    Congrats!
Just goes to show what a bit of time and effort can do.
It's not hard to SEO a site, and as you've seen, just following the basics can earn you some excellent results.

You might want to use your targeted keywords in your sig.

Would you care to share what other forums you used that indexed your signature link?

Thanks for the feedback everyone :) Actually I have been awaiting my "7 Day Grace period" but now can post actual links in sigs :) By this do you mean adding a link to those forums as well?!? Didn't know that was allowed but would certainly add them because I always have at least 4 of the 4 forums open at the same time....heh

Sorry Mong....I don't know what that means...googled your above term in quotes and found nothing :( Could you further explain...I currently use awstats but there are a few others in my cpanel: Analog, Webalizer, and Latest Visitors Thanks :)

I think I figured out what you were saying...was reading up on SERP's and until my PPR is released I know I won't rank very high with the various search engines. Currently I have a PR0 but have a predicted PR4 so don't rank well right now because of my current PR for my primary keywords but maybe will once the next ranking is increased. Is this what you are referring too?!? Thanks for your help.

he means ur stats only show how search engine bots are hitting ur site

which is meaningless if ur not getting the results

hes asking to see screenshots of SERPs

    hope this is correct haha

I guess you won't understand what they are talking about, I don't. But I know what they are talking about. They want to see your pageviews, unique visitors, etc. The results PEOPLE generate, not bots.

We want to see if people really get to your page or it's only bot that comes to your website more often.
