Hi, i am new to php and recently im using templates from icetheme. i started work for a cinema company in fiji and i've taken up a project to do their website in php but only 1 problem. i need to display sessions on the website as this sample www.damodarvillage.com.fj but i find it very hard. can someone see the site and tell me how to add, and create expiry time so that i can add movie times and display it. thanks in advance
You can design sites like www.damodarvillage.com.fj using wordpress very easily. You create a page with all movies showing. Then when people click on that movie then they will go to another page where you show the timings/sessions. This timings will be hardcoded in the page. So whenever any time changes you go and update the page and that's it. But If you are going to use php programming to create dynamic pages to display timings then obviously you will need to put more thoughts such as where to store the timings. Do you want them in a database table and updatable through a form etc etc. It does not mean only complexity but actually more work.
i do need a databse as the site www.damodarvillage.com.fj ws previously desigend forthe same company i joined. is there any other way i can update it or make it more attractive? the whole site is done is aspx
