New To PayPal : Basic Question.

    I am from India.

    1. When I create a new Pay Pal account and receive my first payment in PayPal, how do I have to verify my account by using my credit card ?

    2. If I need to withdraw account balance in PayPal to my bank account, what are the options there ? Is there a direct-to-bank withdrawal option in PayPal, where PayPal directly deposits money to my bank account ?

    Thanks. :)

in uk, we are verified by paypal depositing 2 amounts into bank, then you have to enter details in paypal account.

and when we withdraw money it goes stright into registered bank account.

So you can't withdraw money until you're verified?

    1. You will need to login to your paypal account and go under Profile. You should see a 'Credit Card' option, click on it and add your credit card details there. They will charge your credit card a small amount. You are to check your cash statement for a 4 digit code which you are supposed to use to verify your account.

    2. There are some countries where Paypal supports withdrawl to bank account but India is not one those countries. Only cheque/check withdrawl is currently supported. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-approved-signup-countries-outside
