I am new to payment processing and lately I have had a few clients inquire about it. I know there are options out there like PayPal, but I have never worked with it and I would like to learn how to seamlessly integrate it into a form. Any information would be wonderful. Also, I have seen most payment forms, from my research, as separate stand alone forms. Is there a way to integrate it into a form so they can register for an event and pay for it?
ya it works like , they pay u via paypal n than register for an event. u can do all these work with paypal
You are correct; most off-the-shelf store/payment processing applications use their own form which may not include the information you want to collect (or, you may not get access to it). You can program your own application, and then use a payment processor that accepts the details from you. This can be done with PayPal (Pro account), or with another payment processor using either PayFlow Pro or their own application. You program to their interfaces. Now this is a lot of work, and it amazes me how many people whose main business is not software development choose to do it themselves. I guess they view it as cheaper, but somewhere down the road - as they discover how much there is to learn to do it right - they may begin to wonder why they did. My company developed a store application back in 2001, so we have been doing this for quite a while. You can contact me offline if you might be interested in using our services.
I would go with PayPal. They have rich APIs. And there are free options as well as the ones you have to pay for.
You should use paypal they are good as soon as you follow their conditions sometimes it gives you trouble its most widely used with apis
You may want to take a look at PayMate. It's similar to PayPal but has two major advantages: less than 0.10% loss rate (while PayPal's loss rate is about 0.3%, meaning PayMate is much safer for merchants/sellers), and they pay directly into your bank account (usually the same night, or the day after if a payment has been made after 4 or 5pm).
Paypal is simple and widely used, however you do have to pay a percentage fee to transfer funds which a lot of people find off-putting. HSBC Merchant is a decent choice, particularly for Magento users.
I am looking for a method that: * Allows for me to have the payment in the form. If not, how do I get them to register and then pay. How do I know if they paid after registering without manually going through each payment? I want this to ease the process. * Deposits money straight to the bank account.
You can easily integrate PayPal into your website. PayPal have options to create checkout/buy now buttons. They even have options to create a shopping cart.
Sounds like you are only collecting funds from a few clients - not thousands of consumers. I set up a ACH batch bank account with Bank Of Oklahoma, primarily to offer direct deposit to our employees. They charge us about $50 a month and we run hundreds of payments through it. We have been doing it for about a year to pay payroll and even some bills out and collect recurring or preauthorized payments. There is NO % charge so you get to keep all of your cash and I havnt had one payment rejected yet (crossing fingers now). If you are dealing business to business - this is a GREAT way to get paid. The primary focus of the payment system is C2B. This will be a signup for community events and or services. I would like to have the funds auto-deposit into my account. I have been looking into Quicken's system, but it looks pricey and complicated.
