Hello Digital Point. I was introduced to online marketing from a friend and I was wondering how to get started. This is my first attempt at online marketing as a result my knowledge is limited. Therefore, I'm asking... What's a good way to start making money. I'm looking for roughly high double digits every month. However my "lingo" when it comes to online marketing is limited, so I was also wondering if you guys know sites/forums/papers that can help me understand online marketing more. The easiest way to get started is to do the basics. Don't go for the easy money methods because (I say this from experience) it will make you spoiled and never want to try the old fashioned way. Try starting out with squidoo or articles promote a product someone needs that will solve a problem they might have. Make sure to sound like a person so they believe you, don't make it sound like your selling them something. Also read up on what keywords are and how to target them. Also backlinks. This will take some time, but if you get a lot of good pages out there you will see a lot of money everyday within 6 months. I suggest you look for Bum Marketing (google it)

There is a lot of free information and so many people willing to share that you will begin to find your way I have my yahoo and skype on here and I am able to chat if you need any help and insighti definitely remember when I started out Just remember to be patient and know that you will obtain what you want in the long run nothing happens overnight
You can start by selling ebooks, or joining CPA networks, also visit marketing forums to get more knowledge on this subject.
I'll suggest try youtube and ezinearticles to gain some knowledge on internet and affiliate marketing ... you'll find lots of free information to get started and motivation.... also signing up for newsletters by internet marketers will help but be careful don't sign up with dozens of letters or you'll never get chance to read all of them and your maibox will get filled with newsletters....good luck ...

Do not buy any course, ebook, download or anything else from anyone claiming to have the secrets to IM at this point. All the basics can be had for free, you can start right here just by browsing this forum and using Google. If you absolutely must must hurry buy NOW, then put your wallet away for 24 hours and if you still have the same sense of urgency then go ahead and buy. Once you've done some serious homework, you will get a better feel for what is real and what is 100% weapons-grade baloneyum.

Well, the fastest way would be starting with PPC (pay-per-click) if you have any budget ofcourse. Otherwise search on different affiliate forums for opportunities like 'How to make $ 20 per day...', etc. Often those opportunities still don't work out for you, but you going to understand how things work... On forums you will find also plenty of tutorials giving you more information. It's just a matter of participating in forums a lot and you will learn fast, but don't hang out too long in forums otherwise you wasting your time you could spend on your projects, in other words loosing out on making money!
You can start by writing for blogging communities. In these sites, you only need to write and they take care of the traffic. This is one of my sources for online income monthly. The more you write, the income will come.
My advise to start read a lot of threads here at DP. You will find dozens of ways to help you start making a online bussines. You will find lots of tip and tricks to make it. Gather that info pick the right one that suits you. Then do it. Remember it will not happen overnight it takes dedication and hard work.
Read as much s you can, join webmaster forums, read and ask questions. And when your tired of reading, read some more. Read until your eyes bleed and you feel like your head is going to explode. The only real advice I have for you (besides reading) is to understand your targeted audience. What do they want and what are they looking for? Once you understand "what" your targeted audience is looking for, then you can add content to your site that is directed towards that group of people.
online marketing is already full of people,if you really want go into this market you need brain new idea.
Start reading important posts on this forum to learn more.... I suggest that you buy a domain name and create a landing page, find a produt and put it on the page.. then just promote your site with article marketing, social bookmarking, social networking etc... You will learn more in time
