new to marketing want to get started

i want to start making some extra money marketing im new to this and don't have many skills with it what do you suggest i start with

 

Search the forums before you make a post like this, there are too many of these posts. So what I recommend is doing a search and finding out as much as you can.

You dont just make easy money through online marketing, it doesnt work the may the piss weak media makes it out to be. Nothing in this life comes free and its the exact same thing in online marketing.

You need a product. You need a website. You need a plan. You need research. You need brains.

Once you have figured out the above (do a search, sit down and think about it) come back to us and ask more specific questions.

 

You can log on relevant forums, it's a fast way for you to locate what you want, and then compare the different provider, just one thing, i want to remind you, is that firstly, you should ask yourself, what do I need actually.

Making money in IM is alot of learning how to drive traffic to your site. Article marketing, blogging, forums, social bookmarketing are ways you might want to star with.

Learn to enjoy writing!

I say this for a 2 reasons...

The first reason: "content is king" - I know... That's a very overused cliche, but it is the truth! Without content, you won't make a single penny.

The second reason... The most powerful online marketing tool is YOUR WORDS

The best online marketers know how to use the right words at the right the time. They know how to convince people to spend $97 on a report, simply by using the right words in their copy. They know how to get people to pay $199 per month for access to a membership site, just because they know how to write convincing sales copy.

Of course, you can outsource all of the writing, but quality articles, books, reports, etc... are not cheap by any means.

If you learn to enjoy writing, you can go very far as an online marketer.

 

I would suggest to start with learning how to write.

 

Learn some basic writing skills then start pumping out articles and make a blog. Use your blogs for landing pages and things like that but make a blog that is your own and you have total control over.

1. Stay active in forums and discussions
2. If you don't know how, learn to use search engines which will lead you into learning more about keywords which keywords are great when it comes to internet marketing.

 

Learn more about writing sales copy, and then focus on PPC and landing page optimization.

 

As you're new to marketing, I'm guessing you don't have much to start out with. Try building up a solid revenue source to fund your marketing career before it can support itself.
