I am for the first time trying to put anchor text in my site and it is not working.
    Here is the text code.
    <a href="http://www.webbusinesstoolsonline.com/
    Google-sitemaps.htmlnamei">Web Business Tools</a>

The word for them to click on is web business tools

Please correct it or tell me what to do.

    Thanks

    Perhaps you want
    <a href="http://www.webbusinesstoolsonline.com/Google-sitemaps.html">Web Business Tools</a>

Yeah, just take out the 'namei' at the end of the URL.

for a more SEO friendly (and for screen readers) you could also do

    <a href="http://www.webbusinesstoolsonline.com/
    Google-sitemaps.html" title="Web Business Tools">Web Business Tools</a>
    HTML:

If all you're going to do is repeat the text in the link then don't even bother using the title attribute. Try using the title attribute to describe what the link is about, for instance "Tools for your online business" (yeah, it's cheesy, but it was the best I could come up with at 3 in the morning) would be a good place to start.

What is the link about? In your case, it looks like a Google Site Map. "Google Sitemaps and other tools for your online business" might be appropriate.

Of course, you might have to break out the longdesc attribute at that point, but still...
