New to forums and internet marketing, but took the plunge

Well I am here to let everyone new a little more about myself and where my life stands right now. I am recently unemployed due to the wonderful status of our economy. Luckily I had some money saved up and am surviving ok for now. I decided to take this time to dive into internet marketing and am quite determined to make it work. I am a intelligent individual and am starting to learn some of the in's and out's of the internet marketing world. I have some things started that should pay off well if i can find a way to get a few simple things on the move, which I am fairly certain I can.
Ok now, here is a little about me personally and as an individual. I have a girlfriend whom I've been with for over 3 years now and we are very happy in our relationship and have made a nice family for ourselves. She has 3 kids and I have a 10 year old daughter who is the light of my life. I enjoy playing and watching basketball. I also enjoy training in Mixed Martial Arts. My background for this is pretty simple, I took Aikido for 6 yrs and I was also in the Military where I took advanced hand to hand combat training, through all of this and getting very interested in the UFC, I started training in mixed martial arts and have even been working with a few of my friends to try to develop a new style of mixed martial arts that should be very effective.
