Start by hanging ut where your target market hangs out. Look at groups, forums... Also try to go viral as soon as you can. Look at affiliates. Join one of the larger established affiliate networks, clickbank, cj, linkshare et al... See if you can push your product through existing channels. Who are the guys currently rankng for your keywords? Partner with them... Hope this helps...

You could set up a shopping cart. Many hosts come with automatic script installers to do so. My favorite is osCommerce. Once you have your site set up a good way to send a lot of targeted traffic to it is article writing. If you search the forums I am sure that you can find more information on it.
Agreed. Most people a lot of times don't feel comfortable purchasing products from a poorly designed site. A well designed site is a sign of presence in the internet world.
