    Hi...

I would like to ask for your advice. I have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. I have over 40 websites and domains that I need to liquidate. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to quickly (and hopefully, profitably) sell domains and established websites?

    Thank you.

Thanks, Thomas...I have done a lot of research on Google. Unfortunately, there are a lot of conflicting views. Since (I assume) most of the people on this forum are more familiar with online business, I would find someone with more expertise.

Welcome to DP, sorry to hear about your illness.

How quickly do you need to get rid of them and what sort of value are you looking at?

To get rid of your sites quickly you could offer them up as a single lot, however you probably wouldn't get the best price for them. However if the all in a similar niche(?) it could work.

Do you have time and money to sell them?

I would recommend listing them on the main web master forums (eg. digitalpoint, sitepoint, webmaster-talk, dnforum), but before you do, spend the time to come up with a detailed "prospectus" covering traffic, revenue, etc and really sell the sites to maximise your sale price.

If you want to get rid of them painlessly, you might be able to find someone to broker them for you for a percentage of the selling price.
