I am also new to clickbank but so far this is what I have gathered:
Pro: Earn up to 75% of products
    see earning statistics

sorry about the short information but like previous stated I am new.
Also the only con i think there is, is a delay in payment.

I'm new, too. Just made my first sale as a vendor. Like you, I also do SEO. My short list of pros and cons (1 pro, 1 con) as an Affiliate or a Vendor are:

    Con:
Learning curve and the time it takes to get things going. But isn't that true of any new venture?

    Pro:
The ability to leave for a days or weeks at a time without being chained to an ironclad schedule. Of course, that's only if one is to become successful at it.

Clickbank is like the first step you can do when going into Affiliate Marketing.

I used to think that was easy, but let me tell you, Hard work is needed.

But the best part is that all the work to do to learn how to sell ClickBank products, will help you when you decide to go up in the scale, and try other affiliate networks

    Pros:
    1. You don't need a website to sell anything on CB.
    2. CB is fairly good about getting rid of people who get too many refunds.

    Cons:
    1. The majority of products are info type (eBook).
    2. Many of the products are really poor quality. Really need to check them out good before promoting.
    3. They use the standard cookie method to track sales. With todays browsers, most of them are set to clear cookies when closing the browser. I have all mine set to that too. Where this can hurt you is that if you don't make a sale the first time the customer goes to the sales page, you can lose a sale. So, if you are linking directly to the sales page and not capturing their email address, you would be wise to promote only those products with great landing pages.

Once you learn the basics, you can market ANY product. It is a lot easier than you think;)

    Good luck,
    Zeek

I don't think that is a Con. Is just a characteristic of the network
