    Hello,
New to this forum, and Clickbank, I just started a WordPress site called
SlickClickbank Affiliate Optimizer, and can be found at http://slickclickbank.com

I just need some advice on how to make my site more professional and how to get more sales. Any bit of advice would be appreciated. Thanks. I will be reading all the comments.

    Hi,
first I would change the URL to make it www...

Then you have to work harder on your site. I got some error messages when I tried to view a post. The site appears a bit like "i want to make money" and the visitor feels that you want to make money with his help. You have to provide useful informations.

Please notice that you have to optimize your blog for traffic and this can't be done within a week... Until you'll get sales you have to work hard. I personally wouldn't set up a site like this, I would rather set up a wordpress site based on a little niche and then add a clickbank product.

Thank you, I really appreciate the critique. I am new to this. I am currently looking at finding new smaller Niches and Keywords. The Slickclickbank site only took me a few hours to put together. I am hoping with hardwork and the right Niches and Keywords, I will make some money. Have a Great day!

Hmm. I am wondering if you will have a problem with having clickbank in your url. If you do have trademark problems, maybe try going for www.slickclick-bank.com.

I dont think the URL Slickclickbank will be a violation for Clickbank. I have seen many others like... theclickbankcode.com and myclickbankads.com
I am going to work on my site, put alot more meaningful content and less "I want your money" Thanks for the advice everybody. Please ad more comments, it really does help!

Just because you have seen many others like it does not make it legal. Look at what happened with Google and the GoogleMoney product and others. Google finally took them to court.

Not arguing with you, just want you to be real sure before you put too much work into it and end up having to change the url later on. The age of a domain does matter with regards to SEO;)

You will not get in trouble for having the words clickbank as domain until they decide to change that rule in the future. However, if you claim that you ARE Clickbank, then you will get in trouble.

Thanks, that makes sense. It would be just my luck to make money on my site and Clickbank would sue me! By the way, I am interested in how you make 20,000 per month. I am taking a look at your site. Please dont be another Scam, I, like most newbies, have lost more money than they are making, so I am VERY skeptical at everything I look at.

You need time to get good organic traffic, but if you're at this point you'll see the results rolling in. Many people stop after a while because they think that it's not working- there's much effort in a good money making site and of course, not everything is working.
I would recommend you to take another theme. Is yours good in SEO aspects?

First tell me, what do you want to do with that blog.
Is it just a review site or does it serve any other special purpose?

as far as the SEO aspects, I have tried to get good keywork density, my main keyword density is 1.96. I am not really sure if this is good or not. I made sure my main page was static. I have been trying to get good backlinks by making software and submitting them to software directories. At the bottom of one of my pages is a toolbar I made, I submitted this to many software directories and hopefully will get some good linkbacks. I am making some rebrandable software and going to send them out periodically to try to get more links and better ranking. If anyone has any Ideas about SEO, let me know!

Hopefully, people will look at this site and learn how to do basic things like join clickbank, get a domain name, get a Host, get an Autoresponder, use Wordpress to make sites, and then of course, I want people to sign up for the Newsletter, where I go into more detail on Wordpress, plugins, SEO, Ect.... and then after 5 or 6 Newsletters, I start sending products I recommend ( and Hopefully make some money)

I know my site is not well organized or focused, but I am kinda learning as I go.

I realize that "Clickbank Affiliates" is a stupid keyword for a newbie to try to get traffic to. I am currently working on other sites with keywords for smaller Niches. I have a Site for MyTvClassifieds that is in the top 3-4, that is bringing me brisk sign-ups.

It's better now but I think that you should make a category for your posts instead of just having them all show up under "uncategorized", ya know?

Man, I can be an Idiot sometimes, I will fix that now. I added a page that offers FREE banner placement on my blog for joining the FREE Newsletter. Good Idea?
