I am new to clickbank and would like feedback on my landing page for BlogSlammer! for windows:

    http://www.blogslammer.com/forwindows.aspx

I'm actually new to affiliate marketing as an advertiser and can use any help....

I decided NOT to go with the "Dear User" form long letter style as I thought that Pictures and examples are worth more than words.

    Thanks..

I like it... I think the videos should be embedded in the page so that you don't 'lose' the visitor (people are stupid). Also, in the video I would have liked to hear you describing what you're doing etc. Get that personal connection going on with your potential buyers.

Lastly, get a newsletter subscription that really stands out. It can increase your sales dramatically.

    Good Luck!

I think screenshots are too big, and there is no need to put the testimonials text in Italics...

Yeah, and the screenshots. bl4ckmaN^... I like using italics. It's imprinted in peoples minds that italics are usually quotes, and that's what I think. Plus it gives a little variety. What's your opinion?

thanks for your input.. Need to figure out how to use that demo creator to create smaller videos that still have good resolution to show the purpose of it.

I think everything is too big or too wide. Your quotes for example I think are too wide. They'd be easier to read if they were only half that width.

I also think that having that huge image above the fold without any text might cause some people to hit the back button.

And I agree that you should make it a bit more personal and include a signup form for a newsletter. You're working hard to get traffic but if they don't buy right away you lose them. Capture their emails and keep giving them good content via email so they learn to trust you and they'll be more likely to not only buy this but other products you may be promoting.

I notice that a lot of these sale pages I have looked at are "ISLANDS" meaning they don't link to any portion of any site...

I decided to put this page on my main site so that users can try the demos out, etc.. Is this a mistake? Should I create a single landing page linking to no where but a payment link?

try again... just put a new version out there... made some changes... Thanks for all you feedback.. Looking for more on my new simpler design.

Also, my question still stands, is it better to create an "ISLAND" or to let users roam free.. I know this is more than just a simple ebook so to that end I want my users to look at what it can do with demo's, etc...

    Thanks

On our website we integrated our ebooks into the front page; however it is a full fledged website with over 90 pages of content. Our conversion rate is ~1.5%. We make roughly 40% of the sales ourselves and they come from people who entered in on one of our content pages.
