I just got my site/products accepted at clickbank and I am having trouble understanding how to set up the ads for each of my products. Also how long does it take to start getting traffic from their affiliates? I offer 35% commission. Are their a lot of affiliates in the webmasters category? That is what my products relate to.

Anyone have increased sales using them and how long did it take, what was your commission, ect?

    Thanks.

35% is usually considered low commission in clickbank.
most of the products offer 50% to 75%.

Since yours is a new product, you have to promote it at first.
If affiliates like your product, they too start promoting it and you can make more sales.

Should I raise my commission? In my account it says that the most successful products are at 33% to 75%. I also don't want to have my actual affiliates (Run by me on my site) to feel cheated if I give ClickBank affiliates better rates. If I do decide to up my commission I don't think I would want to go above 45%. And then I would have to raise the commission rates on my actual affiliate program.

Do you think raising it to 45% would get me a decent amount more affiliates?

That depends on how much you pay your affiliates... if 45% commission is $30, I would think about it. If 45% is less than $20, I wouldn't promote it, unless the conversion rate was very high.

Min comm MUST be 50% if you want people to promote your product from clickbank, then offer some JV partners 70%

I wouldn't recommend any commission less than 50%.

Anything less than that, you won't even get people to look at your products. Unless you already have a high reputation or credibility for your own name or products, else a high commission is the only way to attract affiliates.

For your own affiliates, just raise their commission to the same as clickbank or higher than that... they'll appreciate that especially when they have been your loyal affiliates for some times.

I would pick up a product which has high conversion and low refund rate. Moreover I'm interested in products that give me a minimum 50% commission.
