New to Click Bank - I understand AdSense, but it sounds...

    Hey Clickbankatics.
Alright. That was stupid. Anyhow, I am new to the Clickbank program and I have
to say that it looks like there is a lot more money in Clickbank than there is in
    AdSense.

With that being said, I want to make money with Clickbank. I've made decent
money with AdSense, but I really do see way more in Clickbank. However, since I
am a college student, I don't have a lot of time to create my own Clickbank
    product.

Do you have any advice on getting started when it comes to selling other
    people's Click Bank products?

Maybe directing traffic to my affiliate link using Google AdWords would work? Let
me know what you guys think. ANY HELP is appreciated.

You could try setting up a review site for one of the products. I do that with one clickbank product and I make a few hundred a month off of the site.

Using AdWords can work but unless you have a lot of money to blow I wouldn't start off that way. Why? Because anything you do as a CB affiliate will require some trial & error to get right. The problem with AdWords is that your trial & error will cost you money!

You can start off just promoting one or two products to try to get a feel for things. A lot of people do well with bum marketing which is doing stuff like article marketing, squidoo, & other free methods. So you may want to try that out to get your feet wet.

And yes, I think there's definitly a lot more money in CB (and in affiliate marketing in general) than there is with AdSense. I have been doing both AdSense and aff marketing for years now and I definitely spend the majority of my time on aff marketing because AdSense just doesn't bring me nearly as good of a return.

Good advice and I actually figured that's the way it is. I mean, let's put
it this way. If you have a CTR of 1% on AdSense and then you have a sales
through rate (or whatever it's called lol) of 1% on Clickbank, then you're
getting .50 cents for AdSense and $50.00 for ClickBank. Pretty big difference
    if you ask me.

(I know that's not exaclty how it works, but you know what I mean)

Anything else you recommend me doing. What you've stated to me was already my
    initial plan lol

I recommend buying your own domain instead of using squidoo or hubpages or some other free site as your final landing page (use those to send links/traffic to your landing page instead.) Why? Because when you are building links for your own domain you can build real SEO power that can build up and make you a lot of more money in the long run. It's sort of an investment that way. You can set up a "review site" or an informational site that includes reviews/promotions in a niche that includes some good converting decent payout products. I also think it helps to choose a niche that you can write about easily if you are going the article writing route... But it depends on the person... for me there are some topics that are very easy to write articles about and there are others that are almost impossible.

That is completely a big Myth out there. You can succeed if you have the will.

Yes. Stay away from PPC (adwords) until you have some money to lose with it's learning curve. You can combine CB with free traffic generating methods and succeed.

    Good Luck,

So honestly - I just had this huge thing typed up and accidentally closed
the window in Firefox. Ah. I love it when that happens. Another reason to hate
Firefox and love everything and anything else. Jeez.

Anyway, Zibblu, you've made great points. Things I am actually already doing.
I guess it's really no different than AdSense... It's always all about the traffic.

Robert - Thanks for the link. Seems like this dude is having trouble
with clickbank because he's relying too much on squidoo and ezine. That just
shows me that blogging is still the best way to make money online. blogging
    and traffic

Veo6 - Untrue. Anybody can be successful online if they're willing to
put in the time and effort. It's just like anything else. if you expect to half a**
it and make money online you're in for the long haul. I just wrote a paper
    about this. Dude. for real.
