I have not used them but have heard some good reviews . Anyway , if you want to make a wordpress blog then make sure your host provides you with one click wordpress installation like fantastico. Cpanel host will have it but if you dont have it then you will have hard time installing everything .

So check it out, if you are doing it first time.

I have used bluehost, and it's been used to power several of my sites..., such as
    those listed below:
    http://www.neohide.com - Drupal
    http://fooddemon.com - WordPress
    http://extrarisk.com - Drupal as well

It's definitely a good host. I can highly recommend you to choose BlueHost and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Yep, I'll second that - Bluehost seems to be fine. Two years of unlimited hosting for $170 - I say, this is OK.

Cant you actually install wordpress yourself? it is really easy to set it up yourself. Well, I prefer doing things on my own as auto script installers such as fantastico usually give me problems in future, not too sure but it always happens to me.

I'm using them on my blog. I'm new as well and it was simple to install wordpress. So far they've been very reliable and fast page loads. I'm happy so far.

i choose 1 and 1 but there's no general cpanel in any of their plan..and in my plan..the cheapest one there is 1 and 1 wp blog..and no click n bild applications...so i've to ftp anything/everything....

But that prob. not with bluehost....thumbs up!

My little research on this host indicates that it may work good for you. I have not tried it though.

Yes, I believe you can request for bandwidth upgrade from BlueHost. However, the amount of bandwidth that Bluehost is giving you seems very big already, approx. 300GB. Isn't that enough?

yes that's too many for a blog - for the most popular blog in world 50 GB would be enough but hosts should provide extra b/w if any outage occurs because in the same host you may have all your websites may be in future 1 for blog..1 for forum..many...BLUEHOST is rated top among the competitors like 1 and 1, IX, Host monster lunar pages..but i've seen all popular blogs go for dreamhost whoise pricing is bit more...but i recommend u should not hesitate bluehost as i'd said in an early post here...
