New to adwords - keywords

I received a £75 voucher in email so thought I'd give it a go to promote my forum website.

I wasn't sure what to put into keywords, so I just stuck the normal words I use in meta tags. Am I doing it correctly?

your best bet mark is to use the G keyword tool, type in your metatags and get a list of quite a lot of keywords. Then download Editor and put your keywords in there - then use the Keyword Grouper tool to make sure you have tight, relevant ad groups (you can be more professional and do it yourself, but if you're new to adwords I'd suggest this method first). At first, just use exact match, then when you're profitable use the same keywords in a separate broad match campaign and use the search query report on these to build up your KW research

Definitely use Google keyword tool to get keywords, replicate keywords to all match types (at least to exact match), group keywords to highly relevant adGroups and then use traffic estimator to optimize adGroup bids. Try to use keywords in your ads headline and description lines.

Google AdWords editor is a great tool that will allow you to manage your campaign offline. There is also a great third party tool that can help you with all aspects of your campaign - AdWords Intelligence.

Man, I wouldnt just waste the free advertisement money on just any keyword. Like people have said, take your time and do a good keyword research using google's free keyword tool.
