Hi I have just recently started this site and signed up for adsense can you please tell me your opinion on it and whether i am focusing properly or if i am doing things incorrectly? I look forward to all constructive criticism, i have tough skin don't worry about offending. thanks
Link where it is ? Olso you must concentrate on quality + promotion with adsense or any similar program the formula is traffic = $$$
hi one more question, i have been browsing around and was wondering do i have to get approval from google if i have a blog on my site? I currently have it and was wondering if i am breaking googles policy by having a blog on my site and google ads on that page? thanks
Sorry to get you down but your site is a forum and it probably wont have a high CTR. You dont need googles permission to put it on your blog. - Prilep
Are you aiming your forum at doctors, medical students? If so, you need to have amuch more professional look to the forum.
hmmm you are right thanks can you also let me know if i am in any violations i don't believe i am but i am a newb so just want ot make sure
IMHO you should blend your ads a bit better.. maybe start by removing the border. kudos on your choice of a CMS - Go Drupal! I would suggest that your SEO will be greatly improved if you change your PathAuto settings to use dashes " - " instead of underscores "_" .. and.. it might be a good idea to write several "static" pages and make them available via menus. this type of pages with adsense in the content will give you a much better CTR.. like prilep said, forums get horribly low CTR.. my site (Drupal) has only about 100 static pages, and several hundred (maybe thousands) of forum posts.. yet it's those static pages that earn from Adsense.. I could never get more than a few $$/day from the forum areas of my site..
hey terabite thanks for your input i am trying to remove the adsense from my blog since i just found out that i need permission to display it from them can you help i tried and went to drupal.org but couldn't figure out how to remove it from one specific page ie the blog page. could you assist me if you come back to this topic? thanks
i removed adsense from the site for the meantime until i figure out how to make it not visible for that specific page suggestions are still welcome!!! thank you
scuba, if you have your adsense code in a drupal block, you can select that block to not be shown on any page you want. ust go to administer -> block -> configure and scroll down to the bottom, you'll see the option...feel free to PM me if you need help since i'll be around for a while
i heard you need permission from google to display adsense on your blog page ist hat true sorry for taking so long to get back terabite not sure if you get here
