New tips for my new forum

Just finished my new forum - http://webmaster.badea.biz
Can you please give me some tips on how to get some traffic / members?

After reading on DP, I found:
- posts exchange
- put the link in my signature and make good posts on similar forums
- submit the forum to some directories

Any other good tips?

 

Just have good content. Plus, your forum topics look familiar some how.

 

Post some relevant information such as tutorials, resources etc. to get the forum going. I would also recommend starting a few threads yourself to get the conversation going and give the new members something to talk about when they arrive. People will not register at empty forums to become the first poster.

for some forum tips and for getting visitors...

 

I also suggest creating a newsletter that mentions your forum. Send it out to all your contacts and you should see a rise in the number of members.

 

You could always buy some traffic if you got cash to spare.

 

Submit articles about topics similar to those covered in your site. You already seem to have the basics covered, well done!
