New Thread .. "Owner?"

I started this thread, I got tired of offering the service, PDX Nikki and I agreed she'd take over the service in the thread.

Problem = She's not able to give folks i-trader. We don't care to start a new thread, and cover all the ground that's already been covered in this one.. Are we right about why she can't give i-trader for that thread, can it be fixed?

I suggest you do start a new thread and have a link in the last post of the old thread pointing to the new thread. Then report the last posta nd ask mods to lock it. So, anyone looking at the old thread will have to go to the new thread for any questions, services etc..

I have done this several times without a hitch.

The itrader problem you have is a mod and I can't see Shawn fiddling around with the coding of that mod to suit this request.

Thanks a lot Col! I was very confused about that when I was trying to give iTrader to people that had ordered with me and it was telling me that it was an invalid thread. I will try your way and see if that doesn't get us somewhere! Again...thanks bunches!

It would also be better off if there was new thread as well, so the future customers will know exactly who they are dealing with,

Because you also have to think about another factor,

You and PDX might be great buddies now, but if things turn bad, people could leave you negative I traders since it was your thread,

Plus I am not sure if transfering of sales threads is even allowed,

Just my thoughts,

 

Not allowed? Why would it be not allowed? I had a small business operating a service, I gave it to Nikki (who by the way I've known all my life.. not that that has any relevance.. ), Frankly, I found posting on CL to be boring and monotonous, she was willing, we were up front and honest about it..

 

its been suggested by senior members here that a new thread get started. you may want to take that advice, it would be much easier all around.

probably safer in the long run.
