So I updated the design a bit on my website filibo. Check out Search Results for cbse - an example search query. Adobe’s Desktop Client for Facebook is Better than the Official App - A sample story
I agree - too much white. and the font is gray, so it all appears faded, except, of course for the ads. They all have a darker font, so they stand out more than your content. I have to wonder why so many people put the ads right where the eye lands on the page, so the first thing (and most prominent) that anyone sees is the ads - all of which are designed to take people away from your site. If you want them to hang out for a while, it would be a good idea to put the ads below the fold. The colors were so faded and the text so light it was hard to read, so I didn't stick around long enough to read anything. I also didn't get any sense of the purpose of the site. No introduction to what is there, why I would want to participate, or anything. I'd suggest adding some information about all that right at the top of the main page, so the reader will see immediately what is going on and why they might want to stay a while. If there is good content above the fold, the ads below the fold aren't as irritating.
