New Template Coded or Site Designed

    Here's what I've got - there's a template on templatemonster that I want to use (Flash Template #12863) - however from other posts here I know what you guys think of coding these templates. I would also like to have this coded so that you could change the pictures and text from files in directories, an admin panel, etc (in other words have the ability to somehow easily change these without having to edit the flash files).

    So here's what I want to know:
    1) would it be better for you to start from scratch and design a similar template and code that - or
    2) for me to provide the templatemonster template and you code that, and;
    3) what what would be the better way to go, the price difference be between the two, how long it take? (already have hosting, domain name).

    PM me any questions - thanks

    Hi,

    It would be close to impossible to make that site xml driven without actually having to delete most of it to start with.

    You should probably get it done from scratch and fully xml driven so you can update the whole site without touching flash.

    I could do this for you, but it will cost a bit more than the TM template. Have a look in my third signature, I have 2 xml driven site in there, let me know if you are interrested....;-)

    To be honest,

    I would stay away from TM's with a 100" Pole, they just aren't worth the hassle, at the end of the day if your going through the trouble of getting the TM then totally re-coding it, you may aswell have designed your own and coded that!

    Good Luck Anyway
