I recently made a blog ( http://technologyinformer.blogspot.com/ ) Any suggestions to increase traffic/visibility are welcomed Cheers, Michael
Don't just copy stuff off the Guardian site (and without crediting it -naughty) - you can never beat them in serps, you will just get ignored as duplicate content. Rewrite the story, add your own thoughts and comments on it - think about what keywords and phrases you want to target when people are searching and put those in the title.
I would say the main thing that strikes me with that page is the domain. If you want to make any real money then I would advise that you buy a proper domain (yoururl.com/.net/.org). This will only cost you about $6 from name.com and it's worth it, you'll get far more visitors: after all, who types in blahblah.blogspot.com if they're just browsing? I bet hardly anyone. Also, don't steal content. It's not big, it's not clever, and it wont get you money. Services are very cheap here on DP, from just $0.01 per word. I would say you should pay someone $100 per month ish to keep your blog updated with quality unique content. This will get you recognised by the search engines, which, in turn, will get you more money.
Yeah, cos what the internet really needs is someone else who knows nothing about SEO posting more SEO articles - there aren't enough of those aleady nosiree
Thanks for the help. The only reason I uploaded those articles was because the page was looking a little.. bare. I am planning on writing my own content and also hiring people to help with it
