    Landing page:
    http://www.thetattoosecrets.com
    Affiliate's promotional info:
    http://www.thetattoosecrets.com/affiliates.html

Works also well for publishers promoting other top converting offers on CB like chopper-tattoo, tattoo-me-now or tattoofever already -who look for ways to monetize their traffic or extend their funnel further.
It's not competing with the tattoo design products but meant as a complementary product.

Well, I've ran ads for some tattoo sites before and brought the traffic like nobody's business, unfortunately sales weren't going well enough for me to continue running them. Probably was my fault as I was newer at the game at the time. However, after reading over your site, I'm really interested and excited to promote it and give it a try.
    Count me in. :D

That is a good angle you have taken with it loro - rather than doing another tattoo design site. Good luck with it. Site looks good.

Looks good, you should be able to get a decent number of affiliates hopping on.

You could probably sell it for a very nice chunk after some sales.

chopper tattoos converts like ****, actually it doesn't convert AT ALL. i had a thread over at W, and i am not the only one wasting money/clicks on "tattoo designs" which noone buys.

Hope your book converts better than **&%!% chopper-tattoos and tattoo-design niche.

The product has just been launched and you have already sent 900 clicks?

WOW, looks like you are a big boy or maybe just a competitor, who doesn't want competition in the tattoo niche and registered a new account on DP to write sh!t about similar products?

    Just guessing...

well, just a hint: don't bid on too general terms like "tattoo" or "tattoos" in adwords... you'll get traffic but conversion rates are little, go into long-tail, and by the way i think 1 sale converted for you anyway

No i'm not a tattoo competitor, just a newbie!

And yes my bids where a bit broad a general, but i'm a newbie :D
But still 900+ clicks (very cheap)...

I'm still searching for the right products to promote, as a newbie thats quite hard i think.

i just try to help you..
"tattoo" is a huge niche, if you bid on "tattoo" i.e. you can get 1000's of clicks every day, because ppc competition is very low..

    why is competition low?
because other marketers in this niche already know what you just experienced .. tattoo gets a lot of traffic but you have to go long-tail to get converting traffic..

there's a lot of traffic in the tattoo niche but you have to be selective if you don't wanna lose money and spoil your budget

(by the way, this is not only like that in this niche, it applies for any niche you go into)

Research/Information gathering and maybe a little testing always stands in the first line when starting a project

I'm not saying that what you did (bidding on to broad keywords) is absolutely wrong. But it is wrong if you are unexperienced. You can actually test an offer with a broad keyword but it doesn't apply to every niche, and mentioned above it does absolutely not for the tattoo niche.

there's definitively money in it, but you have to make a little effort to crack the nut. thanks for trying and looking forward to some sales from ya

IMO you should add some testimonials, you say on the affiliate page "My new clients are already sending thank you emails saying how much they love this guide.", use these. Testimonials will really help to sell.

My personal opinion... the conversion rate for Tattoo designs may be too low... since people looking for tattoos will try to find free tatoo designs or even information on where they can get cheap tattoos... Good luck with your promotions... If the guide is good you will not have any issues with the sales.
