    Hey people.

(im unsure is this is to be in Politics & Religion or not, please say if it is.)

On June 17th the Swedish parliament is set to vote on the introduction of a new "signal surveillance" law. And i was just wondering. Since Sweden is in the EU, Isint this law against the human rights amendements of the the European Union?

What are your thoughts on this new law ?

    What the law means

I still wonder if this is against the human rights amendement of the the European Union. And if it is, what should we swedes do about it if EU ignores it ?

Omg this is not a good news. I would protest to death, get some people and wage war against the government if I live there. Sorry I live in a democratic country.

Wow, I always thought that Norway would be allowing this before Sweden :)

I am not sure if it's against the human rights amendements of the European Union or not. But I would think that since Sweden is a part of the European Union, they have probably checked this before they are allowing this. But who knows, maybe they haven't :)

It seems to be a step closer to what George Orwell describes in his 1984 novel. And that's not a society I like to live in...
