tips2see itself isnt spamming the search engines its just a domain that belong to what i think is umax. A PPC affiliate program with many affiliates.
I hope you all know that the guy isn't doing anything illegal. Google doesn't like what he is doing but I guarantee that he is (or has) making them ALOT of money. If I were Google I would keep him on a leash. Let him do a little, then reel him in again.
lots of troubles imagine you get omn bloggers PR8 and your subdomian treatened as PR8 DD then you spam google to the hrwioeujriowej level
Google fight spam? Google created all of the spam. I see more adsense ads on spam pages in general. This way google makes money off of all the search engines not just it's own. If google killed spam, they would kill themselves, or there shareholders would kill google. Do no evil =< Spam the world for a profit. Google is the last big dot com bust as soon as everyone figures out that they are the largest evil in the internet. Hopefully web 3.0 search engines will solve current search engine problems. Yeah, 3.0, web 2.0 is dead because with open information to all; people can develop spam easier. Web 3.0 is going to be the fight against spam and google will no longer be around. I thank this spammer for bringing the attention to google, and the internets current problems.
Wow interesting post there haircon. The guy got his sites in because he figured out googles algo. As soon as they change it again (and they will) he will be hurting.
Yeah, maybe he has a friend or it's one of the guys that work at Google. I'm just curious if he has received his check and got his money?!
One of my sites shows 13,000 pages indexed using site:mydomain.com on google but there are only 1,500 pages. Maybe this is part of a glitch and doesn't represent the true number of pages indexed.
That's a little extreme, I think. I'm not very happy with Google these days either but frankly to call them spammers and suggest they need to encourage spam to make money seems pretty silly to me.
Your theory doesn't hold up because AdSense accounts for only a small % of Google's income. They make money on AdWords, not AdSense. The way I see it, Google doesn't even need AdSense to stay in business. Personally, I am thankful the program exists. I really, really appreciate AdSense, and not just for the money. For me, it's also a service. When I write an article, I can see the obscure galleries out there looking for my content. For example, if I write about de Kooning, AdSense ads for art galleries show up on my page. I get to find out who is trying to sell de Kooning paintings. Not only that, I get to see independent, contemporary artists that are influenced by de Kooning that buy de Kooning-related keywords. AdSense to me is also like a news service. I find out about sites that I am personally interested in that I would not find otherwise. For example, I found out about Artinfo.com through AdSense. Also, just yesterday I saw an ad on my page for a new site called Worldeasel.com, which I checked out and found to be an art-specific hosting service, something that I'm interested in. Obviously I don't click my own links, but I check out just about everything that relates to my business. So that's why I love AdSense. It makes me aware of websites that I'm personally interested in, run by people that have money to spend that want to reach my specific audience. And this is stuff you wouldn't hear about at Digg.com or other nerd portal under a general "Entertainment" or "Design/Art" category. Those listings are full of crap. Also, next time you label AdSense publishers spammers, think about all the hardworking writers out there that do this honestly. And yes, people do get banned from AdSense for cheating and/or lousy content, which is why I am extra careful. Sure maybe a few guys slip by with "made for AdSense" websites, but really, who cares? I don't mind a few scraper sites. I think they're interesting. These scraper mashup things get pretty creative. Do you really think Google is evil? It's possible. Personally, I love Google. As far as I can tell, Google's search is still the best and I use it all day long. And thanks to Google I make a little money selling SEO-related services. And you have to admit, PageRank was a great idea. And think about this. Because of the success of AdWords/AdSense, now we have so many more options as publishers: Bidvertiser, AdBrite, TextLinkAds, YPN, etc. I love it! TextLinkAds kicks ass. Do I work for Google? No. In fact, they just sent me a rejection letter yesterday But I still love them.
Anyway, it's true that keyword stuffing seems to be rocking Google's socks! I have a small and normal website not running coop/lv or receiving links from this websites. It ranked #1 for a moderatly competitive keyword (it's the website name) with some links from DMOZ and Wikipedia, and now it's totally vanished, I cant find it in the SERPs... What could I have done that was harmful or against Google TOS? Oh, I get it, I didn't have keywords stuffed on my pages, the websites who now rank #1 are doing this kind of crap!
It looks like the baddatapush concept is taking hold. Look here http://www.dnforum.com/thread169595.html I wonder if such a site, however legit looking, will be banned by Adsense or YPN?
Oh well isn't that just fricken great! Let's sell the concept to as many people as possible. Well on the bright side this might create so much of this type of spam that Google would be forced to do something about it. One can only hope.
grrrr!!!! google.screwed.us is taken!!!!! It would now cost $1.00 to get your complaint added there!!!
Hah... what a ... they are considering themselves to be supremo... well it is us that made them supremo... watch on google if you continue like this then you will be gone...
Look no further, Google will dominated all your life, your work and your spouse. So please.... look no further
