New sites

I'm planning on launching a couple of new sites. I'm about to launch the first but it's been a while since I've done this.

The pages of the pages validate 100%
A couple of pages has been optimized for keywords on Google
I plan on manually doing submissions to a couple of hundred directories
After that I'm not sure what I can do to get it listed sooner at google. Any ideas?

I recently read that submitting your sites to directories isn't as effective as it used to be. I actually started out submitting my sites to hundreds of them as well and have not noticed an traffic or backlinks from them. I would recommend trying some of these methods:

1. Pinging all of your posts and submitting them to social bookmarking sites
2. Create a video about your site and submit it to Video Sharing sites
3. Write Press Releases about the launch of your new site and submit it to Press Release sites
4. Write articles on Ezine and place a link back to your site

there is no shortcut in make your site index by google.First of all to make your site visible to google we must updating our site regularly.Because google like site that contain new article

 

What are you asking exactly ? I m confused.

 

you pretty much have it down packed already, just build quality pages/articles and keep on building good backlinks
You'll be number 1 in no time

 

Agree with all the points.. It will definately help getting better position in search engines.
Few other points to mention:
- If your site has a cool design try submitting and getting listed on best css design gallries.
- work on link building (article marketing, forum posting, blog commenting will help)
