New sites - how long until they are full speed ahead.

I have a few new sites which are between 6 and 12 months old some are still up and down in the search engines others seemed to of peaked while others are doing ok and then vanish. I know this is normal for new sites but does anyone have any time periods that google actually messes with new sites for?

    Thanks

Yes it is new so you have found the changes of the traffic for your website. If you collect relevant back links for your websites from high authority website then the problem will be finished. So increase the back links of your website. A new website also perform well if it has relevant back links.

Your results should start to stabilise if you engage in a good link building strategy such as posting on article directories, do follow blogging and posting in do follow forums like these. Google likes old sites so after 12 months things should start to settle a little, but it dpends on your link building too.

Working on links in forums, blogs, articles and have already done a good run on the directories, with 7 to 8 new sites all around the same time it has been an interesting experiment in what slows things and what helps. I did though prefer the days when all this happened in about 3 months. Any additional comments appreciated.
