In my experience Google updates the PR of new pages in their index first, that is why, in the last update there were many threads about why my internal pages got more PR than my front page.

    Just wait and see;)

I'm wondering if anyone is seeing a PR hit on sites with Text Links Ads?

I've also noticed a number of very old, established sites in my niche dropping a full pr rank. Seems odd, and for the life of me I can't figure out the reason why it would happen.

On the flip side, my own new site in the niche seems to be going from PR0 to PR2. Not bad considering it's only a month old. :)

I have a couple of TLA and also a couple Adbrite ads that I buy links from and see a one point drop on pr on my one yr old ecommerce site. I do not host the ads on my site. However my competitors sites dropped also.

Yes I have, but they rank well in Google's (and Yahoo's) SERPS, most better than ever at the moment. I'd rather take the PR hit at this time, but I think you're right; I'm increasingly concerned about my links from sites with text link ad banners and the like.

    Hmm ...
I think the problem is link overbuying ...
many sites (including mine) has bought a lot of High PR links in short period of time ...
and there is a new algo to dectect these ...

but again some sites went straight from PR0 to PR7 ?!

punbb .org was pr8 now is back to pr7 ...
is there anyone who can explain this ?

    also www. text-link-ads .com
    still keeping their PR7 ...

some word cloud sites has over 300 outbound links and still keeping a PR6 ...

    :(
