New site with no results on google?

Can anyone help me on trying to get my site seen on Google. I tried setting up a Google AdWord account, they will not let me do so because my site contains gambling material. I have a limited budget, and limited time. I have submitted my site to several directories. I have also created some back links. I have also had people write blogs about my site. I understand this all takes time! I have waited over 4 months with little results! My site doesn't even show up on Google search. I need someone to give me advice, or a place that I can go to set up a cheap plan for me to get my site indexed in Google.

try submitting your site to social book mark sites such as digg, that should help it get indexed pretty quick, also if you want to rank for a certain keyword you should have anchor text links with that keyword

new sites take time, however, here is some advice:

    1) publish new content pages. Assigned keywords to the pages. Use the keywords in the pages title, description, keywords tag, header tags, and content.
    2) link relevant content through out your site to the page. i.e. if the keyword appears in content elsewear in your site, make sure it links to the page.
    3) submit the new content pages to social networking/bookmarking sites like Digg, StumbelUpon, etc...

Install google analytics into your site to monitor traffic coming in.

Post comments on other blog posts with links into your site.

The list can go on and on and on. Read this.

Sing up with Google Analytics+Webmasters. Check what is indexed, if there are any errors, etc.
    Analyze your site.
