Hi guys,I am launching a new ecommerce site in the next 2-3 weeks based around the ecommerce software,I will be selling mobile items.I have read alot on the forums, but as a newbie to this, i would really really appreciate, If anyone could give me any advice, say a step by step on how i should go, what i should do from the start.I basically want to start making a list of to do's and to set myself goals and targets in implementing these. I have an idea of want i should be doing, just need to refine a list to make it a bit clearing many thanks Paul
One of the things on your list should be to start link building with some web directories. There are a lot of free ones out there that you can add your link to. Find a list and add your link to a few of them every day. Make sure your link text is a variation of the keywords you want to rank for. And of course make sure those keywords are in your page title, description, H1 tags, and in the text. If you have unique content you'll see good search engine results within 6 months.
