So, I just started a new site. http://mypromotionblog.com/ The basic outline: It allows users to sign up for free and post about their blogs, sites, project, etc.. It will then create a /user name directory (http://mypromotionblog.com/press/username). It's free to sign up, so I know that is a perk. We just ask for a link back and we run our adsense to cover cost I would like to know if anyone has advice on how to promote such a site. Where would be a good place to start? I figured I would ask this community being many members knowledgeable when it comes to this sort of thing. I know blogs are great starting point,but who or what blogs? I have been pm'ing some people on DP forums. Telling my friends too. I am open to all sound advice. Thanks in advanced! Cheers
Or use my tool, the craigslist mail harvester, you can get all the mails of people that are interested in getting their stuff promoted, use it on the category services and you can target your marketing!
Thanks and keep the ideas coming people. Thanks so much. We just wanted a way for people to get their promotions out there. This is a perfect way for new and old webmasters/owners to get some free promotions. I use to do a lot of street and web promotions (mostly related to music), and I know how hard it can be with a small budget. Believe or not people like me still care
