New Site Or New Category For Completely Different Niche

    I am Shekhar Mishra

    I run an entertainment based website with monthly pageviews around 1.3 Million and alexa rank world 32000

    We are now planning to start Gadget Review and Specs site. Here is my question.

    1. Should we start whole new site because its a completely different niche?
    2. Or we should just add a new category in our site which is already running well.
    3. If we add it as a category will popularity of site will help in SEO?

    I guess i have explained my question, still if you need to know any more details before answering then do let me know.
