New site on Google page 1?

    I recently started a new site with only a few pages. Only posted some blog comments and suddenly I see my site on page 1 for my keywords. I should be happy but, since I'm a pessimist :), I wonder what's happening.

    Is this google giving me false hope and degrading me to page 100 in a few days? Or what can I do to remain in that spot?

    If it a reasonably competitive keyword, you might be experiencing your honeymoon period, and in all probability, will go down in the SERPS in a few days' time.

    If the keyword isn't too competitive, there is no reason why you can't continue to stay there on Page 1.
