Put the link in your signature. It'll definitely help in getting your website indexed faster.

it's not being blocked in either the meta robots or robot.txt.

    but.....

Your content is copied from another site so why would google want to index a page it's already seen before????

I reckon the robots.txt is blocking it, maybe. The code is incorrect which is triggering an error.

This is what it should be:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /sitemap.xml.gz

Before I edited this the disallow code started with http://www.yourdomain.com. I don't think that is a good thing to start it with!

Sort it out and it will get indexed.

You should have been indexed basically instantly with bookmarks.

    Hope this helps.

You do need to be patient.

You could make it quicker by submitting your site to Digg.com, putting a link in your signature on DP etc...

Give it a few days after that.

You need to be patient, if you have submitted your site it will be indexed sooner or later.
In the meantime concentrate on building quality links

Best way of quick indexing tested by me numerous times is submit your website to scuttle sites. You can be indexed in 24 hours max, but remember you should submit to 20-30 at least, and not merely mainpage but subpages too.
