Yep you heard it here folks. But the strange part is it only index'd 1 page, the main page. I'll keep you updated on the status.
I have had a domain indexed within 24 to 48 hours. There are some tricks people use with RSS but I didn't do any of that. Mostly just links or luck I'd say. The tough part now is getting ranked for competitive terms. Many say they experience the "Sandbox" effect where they rank well for a month or so then drop. I personally have been able to hold on to decent keywords while building links to get more competitive terms. I will be intersted to hear how your site does. Keep us posted. KG
Yep I too am scared of the sandbox but it's like a 50/50 chance of being in it. I'm taking the risky road and have already added well over 500+ links pointing to it since the time the nameservers came online. Not to mention googlebot was already buzzing around in 24 hours for 2 days str8. Crossing my fingers!
I've got a domain that has been up for over a month with just the index page indexed. Googlebot has one bot on the site that spiders pretty much all day. It's been this way for a month. I've got one domain pointing a site wide link.
