New Site - Marketing!

I need to market my new forum:

http://www.enjoymentlab.com it is a forum for free webmaster things and a place for members to chat about general things.

Anyone have tips for me on marketing this website, the cheaper methods the better ?

Looks like a good forum. First I would submit it to some directories to get some free advertisment for your site. Even though you might only get a few visits through directories it is better then none. You might also want to consider developing a free report (Have some kind of valuable information in your report!!!!) which has your link attached to it and then you will get some additional traffic thru viral marketing. Also, write articles and then submit them to article directories.

 

find a long tail keyword in google (or several) and seo for them

You can offer people to write posts on your forum for little money...but actually I wouldn't suggest choosing forum as a thing to work with. This niche seems to be occupied...

There are loads of forums and you can just dedicate your forum to a certain type of niche?
