Hi guys and gals, I am about to launch a new social networking / dating site and i am looking at the best way to promote my sites. affiliate marketing strikes me as a good way of working out an ROI on advertising. am i best to join an affiliate network or should i approach dedicates sites? If i should approach a network what are the best ones? I am looking to offer 50% commission on each premium membership offered that is 10 Euro minimum per sale
This is a global site and hope for a gllobal audience. I am based in ireland so ill be doing most of the promotion from here but it is not a region specific site
Creating an affiliate program for you your site sounds like a pretty smart idea. What you would pay for in advertising would be paid more so to your members and that is great in 2 ways... 1. Your paying people for promoting your product/service and that makes them like you and your products/services more. 2. You're stimulating the world economy in your own way. But you may need to advertise yourself for a little while until you get enough affiliates actually promoting your site. So all-in-all I think it may be a great idea to make your site with an affiliate program. But just because you have that aspect of your site don't sell your self short by not advertising yourself and using other methods to bring traffic to your site.
