Hey there, I've recently opened a new site: http://www.wildwobby.com I am getting very little 'natural' traffic. Most of it is from posting my own articles on digg and people clicking my URL when I post on forums. I've only gotten 4 google hits this month so far. I tried stumble upon, but only got 2 visitors from SU over the last few days. What can I do to get more people visiting. I have made $5.15 on adsense so far (only 6 clicks).
I would say you need to optimize your ads better, you should put a BIG block of Google ads before the first article. Then, I would just keep adding content, atleast one article per day, and then submit it to Digg, Stumble Upon etc.. I had 3 digg articles in one day from some hot VoIP news I wrote about, my hosting company shut down my blog because I killed the server OPS! I had to get a dedicated box after that .
I don't see keywords in your site header, try to customize it better and add about this site page etc and promote to highly targeted audience.
i think u should try the above suggested things and good SEO with good keywords targeted ... try all this and m sure u will see a gr8 change on your site and income for sure
I think you need to actively promote on a number of sites, especially those within your niche.. post comments on blogs, participates in groups, forums, etc.. If you provide content for people they will come! People won't come if you don't share the love. I launched my site just under a month ago.. http://www.aussietycoon.com - and I am now averaging 150-200 hits per day.. google indexing is increasing by the day, and my hits are going up.. all just by using the methods above.
