I am having a "rent-a-coder" create a charting feature for my site similar to www.stockcharts.com charting feature. Obviously it will be unique, but the guy I am about to hire said I should stick with PHP for this. Do you think that woudl be right for what I am trying to get? I am clueless when ti comes to coding so I don't know, but I do know that if my site becomes big one day, which I am preparing it for, then PHP won't be able to handle as many requests as soemthign like .net will. What do you guys think, what should I use? does this guy know what he is talking bout?

    Thanks

Bear in mind that this forum runs on PHP, and it's a pretty big site. I think you'll wind up outgrowing your hardware before you outgrow the software.

I don't think there's any real difference for graphics, as neither are graphics programs.

Software: Tons more available for PHP, lots of it free.
