New Site Design

I just redid my Video Game Glitching site. This is the first Wordpress Theme I have built form ground up. Tell me what you think and offer me any suggestions...

Thanks, what do you mean by short? They are too short as in Height, or they are too short as in not enough images, or they are too short as in my Thumbnails are too small?

I like the dark colors and the clean layout. The forums seem pretty well organized. I'm from the 'less is best' school of design, and can appreciate how your design doesn't get in the way of your content.

My only concern would be the use of Mario in your header/logo. Do you have permission from Nintendo? Do you know if they have a history of going after people using their trademarks? Nothing major, but you should always do research on these sorts of things just in case.

All in all, I give it an 8/10 for a beginner WP site. The best thing you can do is make it easy to get feedback directly from your site's users, as they're the ones you aim to please.
