So i just started a new site www.JustBlogz.com just last week. I was wondering what is the best to market a site like this one? And what is the best way to market a new site and start getting your first visitors?

first thing i do when i created a blog is submitting it to a few directories. (Make sure you only submit it to high PR (authorithy) directories. social bookmarking is also a good way to start building links
First things first. Promoting that site right now is going to do you very little good. You are asking people to pay to be listed on a directory that has no other listings. Currently there is absolutely no reason to pay to be in your directory. What you will need to do first is build up your database with some listings. You have to ask yourself “why would I want to pay to be listed in this directory?†Get a solid listing of blogs, then build a solid source of traffic, then you can worry about charging to get listed! I am guessing most of these comments above have not even looked at your site.. Good luck!

1.already made a press release ? maybe you can go to prweb 2.already submit in a directory ? if you have a budget go to high pagerank directories , but if you have a minimum budget just try to submit as much as you can to a free directories 3.Maybe you can try to find some websites that gives a feed to other websites ? if you lucky you will raised your visitors 1000 visitors a day ( although maybe they arent the targetted visitors ) 4.Because you mention a "blog" things on your websites maybe you can try link exchange with other websites, but if you sell / provide services you should think it twice. 5. It is clearly a directory, the best bet would be to start trying to increase it's PR. This still matters to some people and if you want any chance of being respected in the community this size, you will almost always need it. Do it the old fashioned way though through link building. Also, start advertising your blog for free directory submission here on DP. People still do this. Don't spam the forums, but I woudl recommend resubmitting your thread every so often.

Comment on blogs and post to forums that are related to the content of your website. Don't do sales talk on the front page of your new site! It will just scare off your viewers. make it clean and appealing....
