I have a site in full html. Now we have developed the same site in aspx.
Now can i save my site ranking with 301 redirect.

Should i need to keep same meta tag for new site.

    Your suggestion please.

Meta elements have absolutely no affect on rankings at Google... and have VERY little if any affect at most other search engines. Meta description and meta keywords are too easily spammed so almost every engine on the planet ignore them when ranking web pages. Meta description is important, but only for improving click-thru-rates.

Redirecting web pages using 301 redirects will pass credit to your new pages for the inbound links and associated link text for inbound links pointing to your old URLs. So you definitely want to implement 301 redirects. If you don't, your new .aspx pages will be starting from scratch trying to rank.
