If they are going to generate more stylised ads then they need to give publishers more control over which ads they display. Some of this new wave of ads create quite glaring contrasts between the ad and the site they are embedded on that are not to everyones taste.
Haha -- the only people who can break TOS and get away with it are Google and they certainly like to push their own boundaries!
Looks nice, but I definitely see some blending issues... I really think google should get into the image ads... such as adengage!
They should keep it as simple as possible. If they are too "stylish" ends up messing up pages - I like pages with coherent design - and I am not going to change the style of my site to suit Google Ads. The plain one just ... plain works everywhere. I am already fed up with all the funky designed regular banners - my eyes are running all over the place through one of those pages. It sucks.
Looks much more like an ad for me, people will notice it more then before if you don't match the border with the back ground color ...
When you posted "sexy" it was not strange to me, though your post is totally different. I have seen lots of unrelated advertising delivered by Adsense such as bikini girls, hot girls, gambiling stuff and others, displayed on sites that has nothing to do with such topics
I usually design when I am bored, and my brain has boiled too much to code anything. It helps me release stress. A few minutes ago I was going through my works and found a layout I designed way back that would work great with this new unit, if we could change colors of the unit. So, quesiton: Can we change the color of the unit? How do they chose the color?
It just looks like the border hex color will make it change, along with that new 'funky' ads by google at the bottom.
