    Dear All,

My company recently started a project called "SEO Website CMS" - a PHP content management system intended to be used as quick website buidling tool for webmasters. This CMS has to support all "well known" seo standards + extras allowing easy customization and user frienliness..

I'm asking you guys to give me suggestions what do you think will be good to be included in this system - functionality and features ..

You can check out the current project information and sample of the cms located at http://www.seowebsitecms.com

All your suggestions will be credited after this feature is developed !!

    Cheers,

    Venetsian.

same here PM me if you would like a real tester. I use a CM system that is probably about the most complex system you will ever see, so I might be able to give you some good insights.

Ok .. I added you to my notification list for next week as I get the working release for distribution ..

The website is the actual cms .. I was to lazy to do 2 websites so I've descided to make the CMS in the same time as making the website .. so when I add the CMS website more functionallity the page gets more functional as well .. and its a good way to show how its working.

    visit www.seowebsitecms.com to see

Hmmm, why dont you finalize the site first? It is very difficult to have a demo than having a running site.

    real quick off hand.

I like a CM system that allows the following:

    - unique title tags on every single page
    - a way to instantly link any variation of a certain "text string" to a given location (only text within content however)
    - "activating" "deactivating" of certain elements

    etc. etc.

All the above has allready been done ..
Each page is with customizable TITLE, DESCRIPTION and KEYWORDS also link text.
Elements of the page can be turned off and on from the templates .. very easy and you can have separate page template for each page or use the default for all .

    I'm waiting More suggestions ..

Okay, since I have a couple of minutes, here's a couple off he top of my head,

    - Ability to rewrite URL's to .html extensions taking keywords from H1
    - Each page should be reachable from only one URL, Joomla falls down here
    - CSS templates to get as much coding off-page - http://www.solucija.com/ is good for this
    - The option to specify H1(H2) tags in each page if it can do this automatically from the page title this would be handy
    - Gives each page unique description and keyword metas
    - Can specify image alt tags, if none given uses page title

I'll go though a more detailed list next week

Not really .. inbound links no outbound linking ..

I was really thinking about making this CMS with 3 types of Outbound link protection:

    - 1 - no protection for outbound links
    - 2 - NOFOLLOW TAG (only for search engines ) visitors should not be aware of that protection (because I'm nasty not for other reason)
    - 3 - Government type of Outbound link protection using redirects with javascript on page saying "you are leaving this page" .. and Java Script send you to the new page in 5-10 seconds ..

.. any other suggestions .. that's easy to be done ..

    Cheers,

    Venetsian.
