    Hi DP members,

what do you think about creating new section on DP where we could add all scammers details?
It could really help all of us to avoid losing of money, especially in the future when iTrader will be removed.

    Thanks

There could legal implications (such as the post above mine might be illegal since it exposes someone's bank account info) .

It seems most site provide a review or in this case Itrader, I feel it is better for the court/legal system and a site review system.

Consider someone making an accusation, posting the details of someone's bank account and person info, the account get's drained and the identity is stolen by a 3rd party. The victim of the identity theft seeks personal revenge. I know of a case where this happened and it almost ended up with people being physically hurt. I personally don't think many have the responsibility/knowledge on how to properly deal with some issues on their own.

How would it be good? Who would verify the claims are true? It could just used as a way of harassing someone. I'm all for outing scammers, but not at the risk of the innocent.

iTrader (until it's removed, the original announcement was about two years ago) and following up with a review post (in the thread where the business was done) should be enough.

Great suggestion. I believe there should be a section here for scammers.

What if a scammer use all fake details ?

Fake email + fake name + fake dp id ? and what's the guarantee that he or she will be back with new stuff + new id ?

We have only 1 way to catch - IP Address..

    This could be a problem.
But if such topic will be open to "accuser" and "accused" everyone could give their proofes

    rofl, and dupe account holders?

Would you like to know how many banned members have posted from the IP you are currently using? I think if you saw the stats for those countries that use shared IPs (eg India, New Zealand, Singapore) you'd be horrified. IP is unreliable in an 8 year old forum.
