    AskJeeves!
yes, we all know who Jeeves is.
and we all know what has happened recenly.
Jeeves was handed a big brown envolope and he went home without his usual shiny sparkly grin.
    yes, jeeves was sacked.

now a new young entipenuer, Salvatore lloyd,14 years old. has come up with AskJonny :p
ask jonny is said to take askjeeves place he told us on GMTV.
he released a dvelopment blog for bur unknown curcumstances he was disallowed from saying its URL on live TV.
AskJonny is supposed to bring out its ad portal late this year.
a mind blowing 7 million people have submitted applications so far fior the scheme.
The boy himself earlyer this morning on esitespot said:

"i really hope that the site will take off"

    He later noted:

"I Have received over 20,000 emails today, i suppose i shouldnt of put my personal email adress in their after all, all the mails have been answered and siome of the sites that were signing up were hurendous. let this be a warning now, i will not accept adult oriented websites at this stage in development."

What do you think the site will turn out as ?

Might just be hype as I am not sure where a 14 year old will get the funding to take on such a saturated market.

If the site it www askjonny com looks like it just strips content from google (Web Search Script © php.Google.com & MultiZ.com/google - Search results powered by Google - all rights reserved), which is a violation of the TOS from Google.

I am sure that will be enough to take down a multi billion dollar empire.

I have not reviewed the TOS of the API, but I have heard of others getting in trouble for taking results from Google, not sure of the situation though. What makes this situation special? All he did was take a api script and place it on a domain.

:) I think you are missing the point of this post. The OP owns that site. He also owns the site (esitespot) where he gave himself his own "fake" interview.

A month and a day late mate. ;)

Seems as though askjonny is powered by SearchFeed. Good luck getting paid by those guys. Secondly, without content askjonny will be banned by Google more sooner than later, and I doubt that this site will ever be "found" by any major SE.

Other than that, good luck on your project!

P.S. In one of your previous post, you stated that you have quite a few other sites...care to share any of the others???

    Keep workin on those dreams..
They take a lot of work and time,
and the end result may not be what you first envisioned.
But with each one you learn more and
get closer to having one create itself oif its own accord.

It's going to be soooo successful that he needs to spam a webmaster forum.

And do you really think people are going to remember to spell 'jonny' w/ 2 'N''s and no 'H'.

Scraping can only last so long. Google will certainly catch on. If you want a license for their search results (aside from their free, but very limited API), you need big bucks.

I think that API is limited to 1000 queries per day...
