There is a new search engine..well not so new anymore..
    www.hakia.com

They have just upgraded their system where you can sign up to be a member.

If your looking for an alternative to the big players..try giving hakia.com a shot.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have already learned so many things.. its great!

Had never heard of hakia but registered and tried a couple of searches and seem to be great..

Our own company is a startup just launched and so google is taking its time to find it but hakia brought up a number of reference sites already.

    Thanks! :)

Theres nothing new about this search?
Why do people try "compete" against Google..

    Best of luck though!

I don`t think so It will have big success! Caouse the market will become saturated in the SE field and the newbies don`t have chance!

Mate, hakia.com is already online since 2001 although they never really published it until 3 years ago. This news is so old...Probably hakia is one of the first generation of semantic search engines.

it seems like a cheap Google knockoff. In my opinion, you'll need more than a clone to ever get avid users to this service.
