    Hi all
My name is Dougie im from today a very snowy Loch lomond in Scotland, and im just new here and really to html, and css and all that goes with it:eek:

I have compiled many websites but mostly using templated designs such as www.t4camper.co.uk [Freewebs] and www.loansdean.co.uk again [Freewebs]. My passion in life is my VW T4 Campervan hence the T4 camper site is mine and Loansdean is a friends kennels website i have also done many many more for friends colegues and family usually using Freewebs or Vivati or similar.

So i have now moved on a bit with my expectations and my outlook as to what i want from my own community website for my T4 site and found Ucoz.net while still being a templated site as such it allows me far more freedom to paly about with the html and css involved to teek the site to my liking and way, as i have always although operating FREE communities thought it better to ensure my members all sign up to my site via a log-in that way i am able to ban users who are causing trouble on my forums etc where it would be hard any other way it also allows be better stats etc and for a whole variety of other reasons..

Anyway im looking forward to biulding this new one up to take over sometime soon heres hoping :p

I am also looking for a flash genius to freely allow us use of a banner they have designed to suit our community as its something we have also never had a header banner sort of thing and now i can have one for once but am useless with flash simple i beleive when you know how, come on guys full recognision on my site for your work add to your portfolios and help us out at the same time, anyone wish to help get in touch

    Slanj for now

Thanks guys much appriciated im sure i will ahve plenty to ask in due course keeping up with it just now..

Can anyone suggest FREE website building software either on or offline which would allow me to do the following:

Create a 50+ page website with full member log-in to all but front/main page
have ads board/classifieds board, forum, photo albums, and an inbuilt links board apart from the usual video and gadget capabilities

Or for that matter a reasonable priced to buy one as everything i can source is aimed at the likes of you brilliant guys who know what they are doing..

Lastly i need a suggestion for suitable reading both on and off line to allow me to learn basic html and css [for dummies maybe]

    Slanj
