New Record...7 clicks: 0$ revenue!

Hi, we talked many times about adsense revenue per click but today was rock bottom for me... Sometimes i have one dollar per click or 0.07 p/click for the same site but 7 clicks and ZERO revenue its too much!

Has someone experienced something like this?

    Thanks fuser

7 clicks without any value must mean one of two things: 1)the clicks were invalid; 2) the stats haven't updated fully. It has top be one of those two things. I just can't see how a click in normal circumstances not be worth anything.

I've seen two clicks and $0.01....but 7 and 0.00????...doesn't seem possible.

yes this indicates that you might of have 7 clicks from the same person, or google hasn't updated your account yet... but there is no way 7 clicks can equal 0 dollars :D

If you have logs and can keep track of who is clicking, I'd look into that. The worst case scenario is that you have fraudulent clicks being negated and if you don't try to do something about it, Google will blame you for allowing it to happen (it sucks but it happens). The best case scenario is that everything is okay and Pierce is right, you unluckily had 7 CPM ad clicks.

Go into your google account. Click on advanced reports. Then select the date range, which would be the day that the 7 clicks occurred. Then, there is a drop down menu below that that says "Show data by [?]", select "individual ad". A ticker should have appeared below this that reads "show data by targeted type", check this ticker. Click "display report".

Now look in the colum that says "targeted data" for the word "site", you should see that there have been 7 clicks on this type ads. The ones that read "site" are cpm ads, and don't pay by the click, the ones that read "Contextual" are pay per click ads.

If the 7 clicks are beside of Context ads, then perhaps it's one of the problems listed above. Hope this helps.

that has never happened to be either but that clicks may be from same person so it may be invalid.

Most likely invalid clicks of one way or another. Possibly someone that clicked ads yesterday came back to click more.
